Pursuing the profession as a YouTuber in the new normal era like today is indeed very promising. The income is quite tempting and the popularity that will be obtained is the main attraction for someone to pursue this profession.

But not everyone understands and understands how to create a YouTube channel or channel that can be accepted by the market to get enough subscribers.

YouTuber from Surabaya, Muchammad Mahin tried to share tips on how to create a YouTube channel with quality content. In the Online Solution Seminar (OSS Indonesia) held by the East Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) together with Aptiknas, Arebi, Kabarbusiness.com and Kadin Institute, he said there were some things that must be considered when creating a YouTube channel.

"The thing that must be prepared is to determine the content or ideas as well as the target market. About what information, to whom and how much our knowledge in that field. That's what we must first identify" said Muchammad Mahin, Surabaya, Monday (6/29/2020 ).

Mahin explained, in order to determine what content would be displayed on the YouTube channel that was created, a youtuber must first identify the things he liked and knew.

To identify, yuobuter has to write 30 things that he likes and is interested in. For example about plants, about food, about science or science, about technology and so forth. Of the 30 things that are preferred, 10 are more specific. And from 10, it will be drawn into three things that will be made as a reference in making YouTube content on the channel.

"If I like to think, happy with new information, happy with the design and happy with education or education. So my YouTube channel is filled with those three things that are characteristic of my YouTube channel," he explained at length.

Meanwhile, to determine the target market, YouTube is also required to be more observant. Is the target market for the YouTube channel that he created, whether children, millennial, businessman or family or even everything.

If you want to quickly get a lot of subscribers, he said, usually a YouTuber choose the market of all ages by following a trend that is booming. "But if you want to gambling, you have to specify a specific target market. Surely the followers are loyal followers but the mining is slow," said the owner of the YouTube channel.

And what should not be forgotten is in determining the title and description that are interesting and making the correct thumbnails and tags that inform what is in the contents or the video content.
